And somehow it would find its way into a book being made for him while Trump and Epstein were fast friends.

@Mik said in One ugly baby.: @LuFins-Dad said in One ugly baby.: Wait, it was penalized for unnecessary roughness. The dude wasn’t ejected because it was an openhanded slap. That's a no call as far as I'm concerned. He should have been out. I don’t disagree, but in this case they actually have it laid out in writing in the rule book. If he had punched with a closed fist? Ejection. Spit? Ejection. Open handed slap? 15 yard penalty. With so many discretionary rules, I’m kind of surprised that this is so clear cut.

https://www.reuters.com/legal/government/us-warns-hidden-radios-may-be-embedded-solar-powered-highway-infrastructure-2025-09-10/ U.S. officials say solar-powered highway infrastructure including chargers, roadside weather stations, and traffic cameras should be scanned for the presence of rogue devices – such as hidden radios – secreted inside batteries and inverters. The advisory, disseminated late last month by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Highway Administration, comes amid escalating government action over the presence of Chinese technology in America's transportation infrastructure. The four-page security note, a copy of which was reviewed by Reuters, said that undocumented cellular radios had been discovered “in certain foreign-manufactured power inverters and BMS,” referring to battery management systems.

@Mik said in Russian Drones Over Polish Airspace: Brinksmanship, probing or idiocy? It was deliberate. Anything beyond that is just gloss.

Solving the problem won't come from one sector. We have 1,100 military bases with over 700 of them being overseas. DJT questioned that but now seems distracted. Eisenhower, of all people, who knew military spending better than anyone - didn't trust it. We ensure that some nations have wonderful healthcare systems and free education while denying it to our own citizenry. Something isn't working right.

https://fortune.com/2025/09/09/soybean-harvest-china-agricultural-crisis-trump-tariffs-caleb-ragland/ Interesting part bolded below American soybean farmers are heading into harvest season without a single order from China, historically their largest customer, raising alarm bells about the agricultural sector’s stability and broader implications for the U.S. economy. Caleb Ragland, president of the American Soybean Association and a ninth-generation farmer from Kentucky, issued a stark warning about the crisis facing the nation’s 500,000 soybean growers. “Right now, we’re in a very dire situation,” Ragland said in a TikTok video that has drawn national attention to farmers’ plight. In a separate CNN interview, Ragland emphasized the scale of China’s importance to American agriculture: “China takes more of our soybeans than all other foreign customers combined,” he said, noting that 50% of U.S. soybeans are exported and China represents a quarter of total demand.
